Teaching aims : Students will know the basics of how to design time-based media (film/video and audio).

Students will know the fundamental principles of working in sound studios and will be able to employ this skill in their own projects. They will be able to carry out audio recordings in a studio and on site.
They will be able to design a post-production workflow and use the individual technologies.
Students will know the aesthetic basics of merging image and sound and can link individual media. They will be able to use relevant software programmes (for example, Final Cut Pro, Cinema 4D, Logic Express and ProTools HD).
