Teaching aims : Students are familiar with historical trends and current tendencies in the field of motion graphics design. They can conceive and realize graphic and typographic design including dynamic, acoustic and perspective components in addition to the other design fields. Students are able to handle current media technologies in the conception and formulation of a design task. They can critically analyze existing concepts and results of their own working methods.

Introduction to the field of design, historical overview of the development and current trends in time-based typography and graphics, methods, aesthetics, design practice Brands, signs, logos in time-based media, Key art, on-air design, film title design, moving interfaces Analysis of existing design patterns depending on the project topic Experimental development of design approaches for the dynamic staging of typography and graphics Procedural animation through music Current media technologies, workflow, project and file management, media formats, encoding
