Teaching aims : Students are familiar with current cross media applications. They are capable of: • Understanding the interface of human-computer interaction and its role as a mediating instance as fundamental aspects of visual design. • Developing user interfaces based on criteria for orientation and navigation design. • Conceptualizing and implementing visually consistent design lines. • Identifying the tasks and central role of the information architect as a link between programmer and visual designer. • Planning and conceptualizing the fundamentals of information architecture for connected, stationary, and mobile user interfaces. • Applying the markup and scripting languages HTML/XHTML while considering fundamental principles of programming and responsive web development. • Understanding the basics of Extensible Markup Language (XML) and utilizing it for projects involving stationary and mobile devices. • Utilizing internet publishing systems, prototyping tools, content management systems (CMS), and frameworks for generating user interfaces.
